
A Competent
Person
A ‘competent person’
as defined in the OHS Regulation 2001 and Australian Standard AS/NZS
3760 must carry out In-Service Safety Inspection and testing of
electrical equipment.
This is a person who has acquired through:
training,
qualification
experience
or a combination of them, the knowledge and skills enabling that
person to safely carry out In-Service safety inspection and testing
of
electrical equipment.
